1- First of all you have to create a new document in which you like to change the margin or, you can also open already saved document in which you like to edit the margins.
2- Once have a document, simply click on File option located at top right corner.
3- When you click on File option, a drop down list will appear consisting a number of options. You have to look for Page Setup option. Just click on it.
4- Here a new window will appear with title of Page Setup. You have to look for Margins option on the left side.
5- Simply click on Margins option.
6- Here a number of options will appear like Top, Bottom, Left and Right.
7- You can click on the opposite box located to them then use backspace to delete previous number then type the required number.
8- Once changed margins from all four side then just click on OK.
9- Now move back to the main document. You will be able to see the changes in margins.
10- Congratulations!! You have successfully changed the margins of Google Docs.
Note:- If you want to revert to the previous margins of Google Docs then you can simply click on File> Page Setup> Margins> Click on Set as Default.
